Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligences

Intelligence

Intelligence has been defined in different ways by different people. A few theorists explain that intelligence has something to do with the genetic code of a person; while others believe that intelligence may be influenced by how the person is reared. Some developmental theorists believe that intelligence is judged according to your age group and would usually revolve around logic and its facets. For the longest time most of the academe has been adhering to that sentiment; which is why the major structures had been based from the understanding that children needed to be trained in the subjects of math, science and logic. The students who were good at these subjects were believed to be the intelligent ones.

But continuous research has been known to disprove this theory. One of the most prominent theorists about this is Howard Gardner. He believed that there is more than one facet of intelligence not just adhering to the left brain functions. Therefore for this list we’re going to explore the different types of intelligence according to Gardner!
